So we did, and to prove Brian right, we include the following:

I don't want to say Brian's hit was soft, but when Brian's dying quail hit the ground, it hit a worm on the head and the worm was overheard to say," Hmmm, feels like rain".

I don't want to say the ball was hit softly but Coach Ken has hit harder balls during pregame warm ups while using some of his past issues of Sports Illustrated magazine.

I don't want to say the ball was hit softly but when it landed,
a fan wanted to grab it and put it on the end of a stick and start roasting it over an open camp fire.
